Love" movie soundtrack LP record -- still FACTORY sealed!
Features Marilyn Monroe, Yves Montand and co-starring Tony Randall and
Frankie Vaughan. Includes 9 songs from the movie. There is a
green felt pen mark on the back of the plastic covering the jacket.
Because it has never been opened, the record and jacket are as close to
mint condition as would be possible for an item of this vintage. I
could not find a copyright date but, since the movie was released in 1960,
I would assume this record was produced in the 1960's. |

Marilyn Monroe Hand Signed Bank Check ~ Payable to Beverly Hills Hotel 2/16/60 ~ Framed w/ Photo
~ A bank check personally signed in 1960 in full by Marilyn Monroe, and made payable to the Beverly Hills Hotel for $1,286.23. The check is protected in mylar, and framed and matted with a 27" by 18" print of a photo taken by Bob Willoughby. Including the black and gold frame, the overall dimensions are 39" high by 27" wide. The photo was taken to promote the film Marilyn was making in 1960 - "Let's Make Love". (Please excuse the odd camera angle -- flashback was giving us trouble.) The check alone was acquired on February 7, 1989 at a Hollywood auction held by Collector's Showcase for $4,400. The collector we purchased it from had it professionally matted and framed as you see it now. We have the original auction catalog showing a detailed description, along with a printout of the price paid by the buyer that day, to authenticate this piece. The auction house graded this check to be Very Fine Plus, with an estimated sales price of
